Tina Finkelman Berkett grew up in New York City and currently lives in Los Angeles. She attended Barnard College, Columbia University where she performed the works of Martha Graham, Jose Limon, and Paul Taylor and was a featured soloist in the works of Lila York, Ted Thomas, and Aszure Barton. She has performed with The Notario Dance Company during their season at the Duke Theater and ASH Contemporary at The Jazz Dance World Congress. Tina became a member of Aszure & Artists in 2005 and has performed with the company throughout the United States, including Jacob's Pillow and Spoleto Festival. In Los Angeles, she has danced with Evolution Dance Company, String Theory, Strange & Elegant Productions and Collage Dance Theatre. Tina also had the honor of being a founding member and assistant to Ms. Barton for Baryshnikov’s Hell's Kitchen Dance tour.
