Banning Roberts was born in Nashville, TN. At 17, she moved
to New York City to attend the
Juilliard School where she received a BFA in Dance in 2002.
She has worked professionally with Hubbard Street 2, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Buglisi/Foreman Dance, and most recently the Cullberg Ballet in Stockholm, Sweden, where she danced in creations by Mats Ek, Johan Inger, Sidi Larbie Cherokaoui, and Alexander Ekman, to name a few. Banning currently lives in Paris where she studies french, tries not to eat too many croissants, drinks lots of coffee, and attempts life as freelancing ex-patriate. She is incredibly happy to be reconnecting with the crazy gang that is Aszure & Artists... it's like coming home. Banning has worked with Aszure Barton since 2003.
